Learning the aesthetics of acting
Mukti Manch is delighted to invite you to it's month long KIDS Acting workshop called "ABHINAYA - Learning the Aesthetics of Acting", this workshop aims to equip the students in basics of physical craft of acting. Our curriculum includes integrated acting techniques from eastern and western philosophies through which the students will understand their own strengths and flexibility of thoughts, emotions and movements. The module of workshop will help students permute the classrom exercises into their own performances, which will be presented publically on the day of the Showcase.
The details of the KIDS workshops are as below:
Date : 1st May to 28th May and 3rd June to 30th June 2019
Time : 9am-12pm
Age group - 8yrs to 15yrs.
Following topics will be covered during the course :
1. Broadway musical style of performing.
2. Use of Imagination and concentration in a performance.
3. Voice work in speech.
4. Understanding spinal strength and flexibility and use of core muscles.
5. Using text with Singing.
6. Improvisation.
7. Cultural Rhythms of India used in text and body languages.
8. Aesthetics of Navarasa.
9. Hindi and English Text analysis.
10. Personality Development.
11. Story telling and preparing a character.

1. Drama Camp :
* 8days drama camp with Lauren.
Date : 7th - 10th May | 21st - 24th May 2019
* 8days drama camp with Vaishnavi Bhatia and Mayank Srivastava
Date : 1st - 3rd May | 14th - 17th May 2019
2. Drama Classes :
4days drama classes every week in a month.
3. The Certificate programme :
16days classes and the showcase.
The programme has been well developed for the overall growth in your child on personal and academic front. This workshop will culminate with a celebrity seminar and a performance.
