Learning the aesthetics of acting
Mukti Manch is delighted to invite you to it's Acting workshop called "ABHINAYA - Learning the Aesthetics of Acting", this workshop aims to equip the students in basics of physical craft of acting. Our curriculum includes integrated acting techniques from eastern and western philosophies through which the students will understand their own strengths and flexibility of thoughts, emotions and movements through pilates, chhau, speakology, script analysis, rhythm, and finding their own truth. A new integrated discipline developed by Mukti Manch involving breath, animalistic movements , emotions, rhythms, speech and voice can be a part of a performer's everyday routine. This practical approach equips them for auditions and helps them to create their own very warm up to practice on their own. This workshops will be taken by theatre professionals. The module of workshop will help students permute the classrom exercises into their own performances, which will be presented publically on the day of the Showcase.
The details of ADULTS workshops are as below:

1. Physical Movements through Kalaripayattu, a martial art form of Kerela.
2. Understanding spinal strength and flexibility and use of core muscles.
3. Breath and Emotions.

6. Improvisation.
7. Cultural Rhythms of India used in text and body languages.
8. Aesthetics of Navarasa.
9. Hindi and English Text analysis.
10. Preparing for a character.
